16 men who dominated makeup in 2016

As the year concludes, I’ve seen many magazines and online publications release extensive and brief lists of men who dominated makeup in 2016. Though the artists on the lists deserve the acknowledgement and public appreciation, these lists rarely include black men. Black queer makeup artists tend to be the true visionaries and curators of viral movements, however they’re rarely acknowledged for evoking most of the viral makeup trends. This list will include some of the men I think dominated makeup in 2016.
